Crikey I ache!!!
I wasen't going to do a blog this evening as my fingers are aching so much from gripping the pole and trying to strengthen my hold! I am still unable to hold my wieght on the pole, which I am finding very frustraiting and have even resorted to jumping off the furnature to test my upper body muscles...only to end up aching like an old woman again!! I have been watching some youtube vids and the ladies on there make it look so gracefull and indeed easy! But Hell its not, although I am determained to learn!
One thing got me worried though today when I was testing my firemans swing and I realised my pole was actually moving at the base (if it moves from the top I am in s**t) so I had to tighten the top of the pole by twisting it....the problam is I am heavy and the firemans swing requires full momentum on the first leg swing to carry you around the pole. Now it dosent take a genius to work out the heavier you are the more momentum you will have and I think this is why the base is going walkies! Wish I could invest in a professional pole like Platinum or X-pole! *sighs* Still Rome was not built in a day, and I am absloutly determained I am going to learn but I am almost out of Ralgex and I ache too much! Its not as if I am doing a lot (2 sessions of about 20 mins pole dance everyday except Sunday) but even the non-swing manouvers really take it out of you, and trying to look sexy at my age and physical condition is about as easy as Davros joining the Samaritians!
Well like I said, my fingers realy do hurt so I am going to stop now (I think this has been my shortest blog so far) becuase I certainly don't want to damage my drinking arm...I am going to enjoy my Port tonight methinks!

Love from a VERY sore trainee pole dancer xxxxx
