First pole dancing breakthrough for me!
and I am as pleased as punch (or a glass of Port!) I started off with my legs either side of the pole, and bent backwards into a semi-crab and when I realised how safe I felt with my thighs gripping the pole, I tentively lifted both feet off the floor!!!! AND HEY PRESTOW!!! Well I am so happy to have learned how to get off the floor even if I am still doing crashing spins!!! I feel like a did when I was learing to swim! Trying to fool my dad into thinking I was swimming when all the time I had one foot on the floor! This (although about 30 years later) is how I am doing my spins at the moment...swininging around the pole with one foot on the ground! It feels like I am cheeting!! What I will do though is watch the training DVD later and double check that I am doing everything right!

I have been sorting out several costumes that I can wear while I am keeping fit, and one I have found is a superb Lara Croft (tomb raider) costume that I have ordered...AND I have also put together a kind of Dr Who, Tom Baker era costume compleate with tweed hot pants instead of trousers, my white *?* color ruffle shirt not buttoned byt just tied at the front, with a velvet waistcoat and Tardis key watch-chain!! Its realy funny!! Oh and my season 12 scarf as well (a shorter version that a made several years ago....well what pole dancer needs a feather boa when she can have a Doctor Who scarf!!???
